On the Mauve:
Recently I went to Forever 21 and was shocked at how many chic items they had.. I spent too much but it was worth it. My favorite purchase from the haul was this mauve trench coat which also comes in beige. I am completely in love with the look of this and I can’t wait to style it over and over. I particularly love this coat because it’s so light that I can still wear it as a layering piece here in Florida.
The other great thing about this trench is that for me, it’s so hard to wear rompers, I’m quite tall and I do have a longer torso so one piece items can be hard for me. This Her Velvet Vase romper is adorable and chic yet it does show my bottom a little bit so without this trench over the top I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing it. When I was styling this look, I realized I had this little Banana Republic bag in the exact same shade as the jacket. The silver pumps were a natural choice to finish off the look.
